All-Natural Air Freshener using herbs + spices

If you want your house to smell amazing this natural air freshener is fun to put together using herbs and spices that you might already have in your home. Putting it all together using any pot you prefer boil water with orange peels or lemon slices with a few cinnamon sticks and 1tsp of vanilla, add rosemary, basil leaves or cranberries on medium heat. This will look like a homemade stovetop Potpourri in literally 5 minutes!

If you have a diffuser and essential oils- Add a few drops of orange citrus, or lemongrass, Eucalyptus and cinnamon essential oil. The cinnamon oil will spice up your space for sure!  Citrus always energizes me and boosts my mood and completely reminds me of fall. It’s the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, earthy and has such a welcoming aroma.

If you don’t have the oils listed, it’s all good just pick another scent that you like! If you don’t have a diffuser there are plenty of ways to make your own diffuser using the example I listed above using a pot. Your space will be smelling really good and refreshed for sure.

I love to use these at times when I’m cleaning and in need of some natural air fresheners or enjoying a warm cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate on a crisp fall day!

What are some of your favorite scents for fall or on any day?
