The motivation you need to declutter your space

Need to find some motivation to clean, organize or simplify your life?

This pass spring I did a big cleaning out and donation pile, where I went threw most of everything in my home. Toys, Clothes and my hallway closet being the number one. As we are preparing to move out in a month I had alot of work to do. We have been living in the same space for 10 years and have accumulated a lot of things in a apartment of 4 people, My husband and I with our 2 children we needed more free space and I did not want to bring anything we didn’t need anymore with us in our move which was a big reason of why I was motivated to declutter up my space. My mission moving forward is to simply be mindful and create a cozy home for my family that brings everyone peace.

First of all take any task one day at a time. So take the time you need. Always remember that mess will happen especially if you have kiddos and that’s ok, don’t stress. I still have so much more organizing and decluttering to do, and taking advantage of this time more at home to work on my extra tasks I want to handle.

Now to my random Cleaning tips!

You know the saying, “A place for everything and everything in its place”? Ha! Well, if you have a ton of stuff out and it doesn’t have a place where it can be put away, it’s really hard to do that and you end up losing things, wasting time looking for things and buying things that you really don’t need because you can’t find the one you already own and for me can become frustrating at times. So having a spot for things to be put away is great and saves so much time!

There is something about clean, open spaces that are refreshing and energizing and more Inviting. Creating a space that is much more welcoming, even for yourself after a long day. Decorate how you want with your own touch.

It is truly a vibe. 💟

Helps you appreciate what you have and focus on what matters. You soon start realizing that stuff is just that: stuff. There is something about the process of making space in an area that made me realize that again in a new way. I’m not against having material things, but I don’t want those things to keep me from living life to the fullest. But rather have more things of value to my life.

I know that these tips might sound really simple. But really, I truly didn’t realize how much of a difference it makes.
