I wanted to give you a cough syrup remedy to grab when you need help with a cough, especially during this crazy flu and allergy season. This recipe is one I have tried personally with my family. It’s made with all-natural ingredients that provides cough relief and have antiviral and anti inflammatory benefits!
Nutrients in pineapple juice help thanks to its ability to soothe the throat and dissolve mucus.
🍍Pineapples contain bromelain, an enzyme with anti-inflammatory properties. It fights infections and kills bacteria. – Drinking pineapple juice helps soothe a sore throat and aids the body to expel mucous easily. -The bromelain present in pineapple also helps to calm cough arising due to the cold.
HOMEMADE COUGH SYRUP
Great ingredients you can add with this cough syrup to turn it into a stronger boost drink are garlic, arugula, basil, with organic orange juice. While these ingredients are an ultra boost for the immune system the little ones might not like the taste so I advise to just give a teaspoon if needed for a cough and add honey as needed. Store in a glass bottle or mason jar.
♡ Pineapple juice or blend slices
♡ Squeezed limes
♡ Ground ginger
Blend ingredients together
Take 1-3 tablespoons as needed to soothe a cough, cold or sore throat.
Try some homemade fruits throat soothing Popsicles! Just grab a nice set of Popsicle molds, pour in your juice, and there you go!
